Vanguard is a lightweight staff activity tracker for Paper/Spigot servers.

Built for teams that want a clean and reliable way to monitor staff activity without unnecessary complexity.

Overview
Vanguard automatically tracks staff activity the moment they join the server. No manual duty command is required.

Requirements

• Paper or Spigot 1.21+
• Java 21+
• No additional dependencies

Installation

1. Place Vanguard-1.0.2.jar in your plugins folder
2. Restart the server
3. Assign permissions as needed
4. Done

Commands

Staff
Permission node: vanguard.staff

• /vanguard help — Show command menu
• /vanguard stats [player] — View staff activity data
• /vanguard top — View the staff leaderboard
• /afk — Pause or resume tracking

Alias: /vg

Admin
Permission node: vanguard.admin

• /vanguard reset <player> — Clear one tracked profile
• /vanguard reset all — Clear all tracked profiles

Tracking System

• Tracking starts automatically when a staff member joins
• Tracking pauses manually with /afk
• Tracking resumes automatically on movement, chat, or command usage
• Tracking stops and saves when the player leaves
• Data persists through server restarts

Stats Display

• Status — ACTIVE, AFK, IDLE, or OFFLINE
• Active Time — Total cumulative tracked time
• Session — Current live session time only
• Actions — Moderation commands executed with a valid target

Reset Confirmation
All reset actions require confirmation within 10 seconds.
