RainbowBlocks adds animated, color‑cycling blocks, a powerful rainbow wand and a fun rainbow hat to your server. Build, paint and edit regions with rainbow effects or simple block tools.

Features

• Animated rainbow blocks that cycle through all 16 colors
• Toggleable rainbow placement and rainbow walk trail
• Rainbow Wand for setting, cutting and randomizing blocks
• Rainbow Hat cosmetic (see updates section for known bug)
• Configurable speeds, block families, messages and sounds

Commands

• /rainbow – Displays plugin author information.
• /rainbow help – Shows detailed help menu.
• /rainbow version – Displays plugin and config versions.
• /rainbow reload – Reloads the configuration (requires permission).
• /rainbow toggle – Toggles rainbow block placement on/off.
• /rainbow walk – Toggles the rainbow walk feature (requires permission).
• /rainbow wand – Gives the rainbow wand to yourself (requires permission).
• /rainbow hat – Gives the rainbow hat to yourself (read updates, there is a known bug).
• /rainbow cut – Cuts the region like WorldEdit.
• /rainbow set <RED_WOOL> – Sets the selected block(s) to the given material (example: RED_WOOL).
• /rainbow setrainbow <RED_WOOL> – Sets rainbow blocks using the given base material (if rainbow is enabled).
• /rainbow setrandom <family> – Sets random blocks from the chosen family (for example wool, if supported).

Permissions

• rainbowblocks.use – Access to basic commands (info, help, toggle, walk) – Default: op
• rainbowblocks.reload – Use /rainbow reload – Default: op
• rainbowblocks.update – Receive update notifications – Default: op
• rainbowblocks.wand – Use /rainbow wand and editing subcommands – Default: op
• rainbowblocks.hat – Use /rainbow hat – Default: op

Configuration
Configured via config.yml, messages.yml and sounds.yml:

• Rainbow cycle speed (ticks)
• Enabled block families (wool, concrete, glass, etc.)
• Rainbow Walk behavior and revert delay
• Wand region size, behavior and messages
• Rainbow Hat item name, lore and messages
• Messages and sounds for key actions

Installation

• Download RainbowBlocks.jar
• Place it in your /plugins/ folder
• Start or restart your server
• Edit config.yml, messages.yml and sounds.yml as desired
• Use /rainbow reload to apply changes

Compatibility

• Spigot / Paper 1.16+ (tested on modern versions)
