Upgrade your Minecraft gameplay with this super cozy chess plugin.
It lets you play chess while still enjoying normal Minecraft gameplay such as building, farming and more. You can close and open your chess board at any time which makes this plugin a must have for every survival server!



How to play:

• First you need to send a duel request to another player. For that you use the command: /chess duel <Player> <TimeMode>
• The Time mode determines with how much time each player starts and what time increment they get per move
• The requested player can either react with: /chess accept <Player> or /chess decline <Player>
• Once accepted, the chess board inventory opens for both players
• This inventory can be closed and reopened at any time. To open the chess board you need to use the command: /chess open
• If a move was played by the opponent the other player will be notified about in chat if the inventory wasn't open
• The game ends with checkmate, expired time, surrender or draw
• Players can also leave the server while being in a chess game. The chess game will keep going

Draw:

• A draw can be requested by clicking on this item
• Once clicked a draw request will appear in the chess inventory of the other player which he can then accept by clicking or decline by ignoring. It will expire after some time

Surrender:

• A player can surrender by clicking on this item
• Both surrender and draw need to be confirmed by another click

Configs:

• There are 3 differnet YML files for you to configure:
• In the database.yml you can put in your database information. The database is being used to store the stats (Wins, Draws, Losses) for each player. Currently there is no way to display them but this is coming in future updates.
• In the settings.yml you can adjust general settings related to the chess game such as expiration times and also the sounds that are being played for the different game events (Move, Check, Win, Loss, Draw)
• In the message.yml you can adjust any plugin sent message

Of course a texture pack is needed for this plugin to show all these custom textures. So at the beginning you will be asked to download it. The plugin is NOT playable without the texture pack so please accept the download request.

This plugin is in a really early stage. I have already planned so much content for updates which will be coming in weekly. But you can let me know about any update idea in the Resource Discussion. Also if you find any bugs or errors please let me know about them there too. Since the plugin is really new, there might still be little errors here and there. Let me know and they will be fixed as soon as possible.
