PJ's Mechanics This plugin adds in a number of miscellaneous mechanics into Minecraft intended to enhance the survival experience.
New Throwables A number of items can now be thrown with various effects.
Snowball | Applies freezing effect when hit. Slime Ball, Clay Ball | Applies mining fatigue and slowness when hit. Magma Cream | Applies mining fatigue, slowness, and briefly sets ablaze when hit. Ink Sac | Applies blindness when hit. Glow Ink Sac | Applies Glowing effect when hit. Fire Charge | Shoots a small fireball when thrown. Cobweb | Will place a cobweb block wherever it lands if location is clear. If an entity is hit, the cobweb will be placed at their feet. Torches | Will place the torch on any clear distant surface when hit. Briefly sets hit entities ablaze. End Rods | Will place the end rod on any clear distant surface when hit, including ceilings. Makes hit entities glow.
Fall Damage
New blocks now reduce fall damage by 70%: Wool, Leaves, and Snow.
Landing on Leaves, Snow, and Hay may cause you to fall through a layer if dropped from high enough.
Blindness Mechanic
When a hostile mob has the blindness effect, it will be unable to target you. For example, if a zombie is chasing you and you hit it with an ink sac, it will stop chasing you.
Salvage Mechanic
Dropping a tool/armor made of a primary mineral in the result slot of a crafting table will break it down into its original primary resources.
If the item has durability, the amount returned will be proportional to the durability that remains (rounded down).
The following miscellaneous items can also be salvaged:
Minecarts, Clocks, Iron Doors, Shears, Cauldrons, Buckets
The following notable items cannot be salvaged:
Netherite tools/armor, Horse armor
For example:
A diamond chestplate with 100% durability will return 8 diamonds
A diamond chestplate with 99% durability will return 7 diamonds
An iron shovel with 99% durability will return 0 iron
A clock will return only 4 gold ingots
A single iron door will return only 2 iron ingots (6 ingots = 3 doors, 2 ingots/door)
Misc. Mechanics
Right-Clicking a mob that can wear armor with a carved pumpkin will put the pumpkin on its head. This has the same effect as as the Blindness Mechanic.
Holding shift and right-clicking boats and minecarts will pick them up. This will not work if the vehicle has a passenger.
Holding an empty bucket in the rain will fill it up.
Wearing any armor with gold armor trim will prevent piglins from attacking you like normal gold armor
Right-Clicking a fully grown crop with a hoe will automatically harvest and replant (works with Fortune) *new*
