Started using LagFixer today and already see performance improvement. Been using it for about a month and it actually delivers – super lightweight, no extra lag, noticeably smoother server. Mob air reducer + entity limiter do the heaviest lifting on my big farms. MSPT stays lower during peak hours, lag spikes less painful thanks to LagShield. Works great on Purpur. Solid plugin, recommended.
Also suggest adding per-world view-distance and simulate-distance settings, since some players may have spawn on a separate world.

This plugin is amazing. I’ve seen reviews claiming it’s terrible and hurts performance more than it helps, but that hasn’t been true in my experience at all. The only thing I’d suggest is fixing Explosion Optimizer with Crystals. I’ve tried disabling crystals specifically, but there’s still a cooldown that prevents Crystal PvP. I really like the Explosion Optimizer module and would use it much more if this bug didn’t exist.

Another improvement that would be nice is adding descriptions or titles for each config option in the GUI.

Hello, I don't know if it's my problem, but when there are only 10 players on the server, the TPS drops, redstone won't trigger, minecarts are prevented from moving, and minecarts disappear!

I’ve been using this plugin for about a year now, and I’m genuinely impressed. There are constant updates and fixes, which shows the developer really cares. Despite some opinions saying this plugin doesn’t change anything, in my experience, it has actually improved server performance noticeably. It has never let me down.

LagFixer is a heavy “optimization” plugin that tries to handle multiple tasks at once. It limits entities per chunk, cleans up world clutter, enables a so-called smart LagShield system, and even includes its own built-in redstone limiter, truly a heavy, heavy load for your server!

Limiting entities per chunk is an utterly pointless feature that has never had any real value. The only scenario where it might help is if a player is trying to create a lag machine using minecarts. Even then, it’s basically a placebo, since nothing stops them from just moving into adjacent chunks.

And all those “smart systems” work in the dumbest way possible, by scanning TPS and restricting absolutely everything they can. Wasn’t someone at the beginning of this article advocating for “no limitations”?

Overall good plugin, main issue is that it clears (even when instructed NOT to) villagers, tamed pets and sometimes mobs not in list. Can't figure out why it does that

The plugin does its job at clearing entities and items but I feel like it does it too well because a lot of the animals ive tamed and kept in my base were all erased with the exceptions of maybe 1 or 2 nametagged tamed animals. Either way I do not think the plugin is bad in what it does it's just that I feel like the overkill entity optimisation gave me a bad experience.

I absolutely love this plugin. Since I installed it, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my server’s performance. The support team is very helpful, and when I reported a bug, it was fixed within just a few minutes. The plugin also receives frequent updates that bring either important fixes or brand new features.

The plugin is fine, its just annoying that its spamming in the chat. I had to clear some things in config so it wouldn't spam too much in the chat...

I'm going to be kind about the performance - it lifted the TPS in my server from 12.5 to 16.5, so I assume it's going to do the task that people ask from it, but at what cost? Now our server has silent animals and we don't seem to be able to reverse it, and we had plenty animal drownings too during the time the plugin was instaled. Now, after removal, the animals are still silent.

Very terrible support and plugin, this plugin won't clear mobs but only items. I went on the discord asked about that problem how to fix it, they ignored it. Not recommended.

I love this plugin! I've seen a noticeable improvement in my server's performance. I don’t understand why some people judge it based on Discord support. This is a free plugin, and we shouldn’t expect the developer to provide personal setup help for everyone. The plugin does what it promises, and that’s what really matters.

1000x better than clearlag, u dont even have to understand this. u just have to put it in your plugins folder and your server will have very smooth performance like magic. best lag free plugin out there

The LagFixer plugin has played a very good optimization role on my server. Everything is very good except from the CustomIA option. Idk why, but that makes the server even more laggy than before... from 5800 ticks overloaded, with this plugin with all options enabled except Redstone and CustomIA, we went to 4900 ticks. Great work!

After installing the plugin, half of the mobs ai completely stopped working. It looks like the custom AI broke the server, and it doesn't help that all the lag fixer features are enabled by default, which resulted in player's farms to malfunction

This is the best plugin for optimization! Set up configs in the core and install this plugin, enable the necessary functions and the server will live for a long time. My server is on 1.16.5 Paper with 60-70 plugins with 4 (2 self-written) anti-cheats, anti-xray, with LPX and multiworld, it can last a very long time, especially thanks to /lagfixer free. It also fixes lag machines such as on redstone and entity. I use 1 version older. I would really like to see FPSHelper, only without any errors in packages. I LOVE LagFixer!

well this plugin causes lags on 70 players tps was 9 server hosted on I9 13900 CPU
when i unloaded that plugins tps was 20
so i don't recommend this plugin until dev fix

It's a very good server plugin, but it doesn't generate configuration files, which are blank!!

Great plugin for small servers, didn't try it with a custom server configuration, just the standard one, and works kinda well.

Randomly reloads chunks and uncaps the render distance for the player. I wouldn't recommend this plugin at all. This is NOT a lagfixer.

If you startup your server with this plugin, it says that your server is unoptimised BUT how glad you can buy a server optimisation from them.
After you open a ticket in discord, it says that the price for optimisation is 15-25$. This kind of business sounds very suspicious. I highly recommend staying away from such things.

Plugin works great after update 1.1.0, but the ItemsCleaner spams the chat like crazy, I don't know if we can, but would be nice to allow us to turn off some messages and leave only the 10 second one for example. It also doesn't support pages in the abyss so it deletes items too often.

I found this plugin a while ago but didn't think much of it, but I have noticed that you add so many features almost every day to this plugin, and one day it will be the best anti-lag plugin!

LagFixer is an amazing plugin! It has completely eliminated lag on my Minecraft server. Creatures move smoothly, and redstone no longer slows down the gameplay. It's a game-changer and an absolute must-have for any Minecraft server owner! I highly recommend it to everyone!
