CompoundV is a modular ability plugin inspired by
The Boys. Players drink experimental serums to roll for super powers — from flight and heat vision to a one-shot chest beam that vaporizes anyone in its path. Every ability has real controls, real cooldowns, and real consequences.
Compound V — The classic. Random ability, permanent until death. Heroes are extremely rare.
Temp V — A weaker, time-limited dose. Power fades after a configurable duration.
V One — The refined formula. Only rolls top-tier abilities.
Anti V — The cure. Drink to remove your current ability.
Right-click a bottle to drink. After a short activation, your power is unlocked.

Cooldown starts after returning to normal. V One upgrade available.
Short-range blink ability. V One upgrade available for longer range and reduced cooldown.
Simple, clean, permanent. Vanilla creative-style flight controls. Includes a basic Jump Start.

F to toggle Speed IV. Small Resistance bonus while sprinting. Outrun anything that breathes.
Permanent Strength III and a Resistance bonus. No toggle, no cooldown. You just hit harder. Forever.
A passive ring of fire ignites enemies automatically. Comes with Fire Resistance.

❓ FAQ
By default, you lose it. Same risk Vought's heroes never had — and exactly what makes serums valuable and PvP genuinely tense. Don't drink it on a server full of enemies you can't outrun.
The duration is rolled per drink between
min_duration_minutes and
max_duration_minutes (default: 15–120 min). When the timer runs out, the ability fades automatically and you're back to mortal.
By design. Default weight is
1 against a combined pool of ~80, so expect dozens of bottles per Patriot roll. He's meant to be the server event — not a random Tuesday. Tweak the weight in
config.yml if you want him more common.
Yes. Open
plugins/CompoundV/config.yml and set any ability's chance to
0 to disable it completely, or change the number to influence how often it rolls. Higher number = more likely. Run
/cv reload to apply without restarting.
Two usual suspects: (1)
abilities.the_veteran.beam_break_blocks is set to
false in your config, or (2) a land-protection plugin (WorldGuard, GriefPrevention, Towny…) is canceling the block damage. Check both and you're good.
Yes. Every drink rolls independently — there's no global lock. Two Patriots on one server? Server admins might consider that a balance issue. Players will consider it a tournament.
