In my opinion it is better than Deluxe Menus because it has a lot more features and is more performant.

dear Author. so when Waterfall project was closed. Please add the Velocity add-on to this plugin. Need an add-on to link Velocity and paper, like you did it with BungeeCord. this is very important for all servers owners.

Hello author, my server is paper version 1.20.6, and the PlayerPointsBridge in the menu does not respond to the player's points being invalidated.

Not only is this currently by far the best GUI plugin but also does the helpful owner provide very good support and fixes errors as soon as they are noticed. This plugin is highly customizable with numerous options. In addition to that, it has optional Addons that offer even more customization or bridges to other plugins like Vault and WorldGuard.
BetterGUI is a must on every server!

-1 star for the fact that addons have manual update could have made the update command when there are a lot of them this is a problem

BetterGUI do not works on 1.20.2. Do not install it. Critical bug when "skull" was used in menu, totally broken by Exception. XCross2.4 latest version - not working. Author dont want to fix this.

I can only say it’s the best Plug-in to create GUI‘s. Support on discord is fast and easy!

Truly complete and essential plugin for any type of server, it offers all kinds of features needed to run any type of gui.
I had a little problem, contacted the developer (which is very underrated for free plugins) and he turned out to be more helpful than many developers who have paid plugins.

I highly recommend this plugin, you will hardly find plugins so complete, updated and with great support!

Easy to set up but I want to ask.
is it possible to somehow set up the menu so that when you click on the nether star in the inventory, for example, a menu opens (the principle is the same as in ChestCommands)

Been using it for a long time, never had any issues. It's simplicity is what makes it stand out and so easy to configure.
I don't know what all these other reviews complain about, maybe my use case is just way easier than theirs. All I can say is that I'm happy with it :)

Very hard to migrate from CC, Dev dont care..
No body going to spend 3 days to work on migration to at the end get configs full of errors..

Definitely should give it a try! Wiki is easy to understand, the design of the GUI is familiar. I think other GUI plugins is kind of boring as it maybe a bit complicated with me lol. Recommended!

ChestCommands was better than this Plugin.

I don't like the Wiki, and i don't understand how to use it.
Don't even tried to lost my time at the Discord.
I switch with another Menu plugin or pay a developper to make me menus.

Excellent plugin. I have tried at least 3 others but this is one of the two offering so many functions and customisable features (the other one is trxxxx [which is dead I believe]).

BetterGUI is such an underrated plugin! I was astonished when I saw the wiki, it is the most customizable GUI maker I've ever seen! The wiki is so well written too, although it may seem overwhelming at first, once you know the basics, you can create whatever GUI you imagined. Thank you for creating and (more importantly) maintaining such an amazing plugin!

Great plugin. But can you fix that a menu-name can't change it color if using PaperSpigot 1.16.4 joined the server with 1.12.2 client with ViaVersion. If join on 1.16.4 it change colors. And hide enchants and attributes flag also stop works on latest build of Paper. Sorry for my english)

The plugin was awesome. I have created an awesome menu that enabled me to use a fast travel system with activation. Now nothing works anymore !! I can see in the changelog that it has changed something. HOW SO???? I can not understand! It's a lot of work to create a menu and now I can't even find the wrong line in my menu. Why don't you leave it as it is. :(

I was able to create a lot of great menus with the plugin and especially complex menus. After the update I can now rewrite all of my menus because none of them work anymore. I don't understand why you have to make such a change ...

I think this plugin should be rename to BesterestGUI not Better anymore :)))))))

I've been using ChestCommand since the day it got uploaded and as expected, its impressive in everyway. It runs great, its smooth, theres not much to complain about.

Same goes with BetterGUI, a lot more powerful, more options and all kinds of shit, comparing it to alot of premium options, this is up on the top list. And this isn't even close to be considered as a "basic GUI creation plugin", it is extremely user-friendly with the configuration similar to what you'd get with CrackShot and it gives you a lot of options and functionality to what you want your menus to look, feel and do.

The ONLY problem I have is with the developer. Although I will not be dropping down my rating just because of it, I will criticise over it.

I have major respect for the developer cause this genuinely feels more like a premium plugin than it is a free one cause as I said, options are there and its user friendly. However, with that being said. The developer's attitude at times are rather, questionable at best. I maybe stupid from time to time or I don't do enough research but the fact that I ask a stupid/basic common sense question, you did not have to be sarcastic about it. I wouldn't call it rude cause I am at fault at the same time for not doing proper research before asking questions but even so, you didn't have to sarcastic about it either, you could've just simply link me the wiki and everything would've been fine.

Long story short, its a great plugin, same goes with ChestCommand Forked. But I am still annoyed at how the developer responded, even to dumbass questions like the one I asked.

I've changed from ChestCommandsGUI to BetterGUI and it's a very nice plugin.
It can be more advanced and the author is proactive in updating it.

I like this plugin, you can do anything with it, that prove it was seriously thought out and that just make me love it!
