I want to preface this by saying that I like the Advanced plugins - I use AdvancedEnchantments and Battlepass for my server and they work well. However, AdvancedJobs is not comparable to these in its current state.

I wanted to use this plugin to create a system where players get per action money from their job (i.e, $0.50-$0.60 per carrot, or $0.25 per netherwart). While per action rewards are possible, the customization for this plugin isn't nearly deep enough to make (or document) a fully fledged system like that. Jobs are heavily tied to the level up points system and using it is very cumbersome and hardly explained - it would be nice if there were an option to disable it entirely and reward players per action without having to essentially work around it. I understand why this is included, but for a plugin at this price-point, there should be more customization other than solely the equation.

It feels very much like a recode or addon to Battlepass. The config and file structure are almost identical. The concepts of refreshing jobs and free/premium options are very out of place for this type of plugin. It feels like Battlepass but with worse documentation and customization. The wiki is also very bare bones and likely AI generated, considering the excessive usage of buzzwords despite saying nothing. I understand that this plugin builds off of the functionality of other Advanced plugins from the main wiki (often linking directly to the Battlepass wiki), but even some basic explanation of how to create advanced custom jobs would be nice. It basically says "use what the default config has to add your jobs" but explains literally nothing past that.

Also, the "intuitive" "state-of-the-art" in-game GUI editor that is advertised really appears to be an afterthought. You can change the exact same (or even less) parameters that you can in the configs, but what's the point if it takes much longer to do it in-game, and you have to type everything into the Minecraft chat instead? It's still text based, definitely not intuitive, and definitely not state of the art like the wiki claims it is.

If you're looking for a jobs plugin and plan to use the default jobs that are offered here without much customization, this choice isn't bad - but the plugin is definitely not worth the $20 CAD considering it's missing critical documentation and features. There are other free alternatives that offer the same or better functionality. I like the Advanced Plugins, but I will not be using this one again.

We bought this plugin thinking it would do what we needed for our server. It ended up being not possible and a complete mess to configure, and we ended up trying one called uJobs that was free that did exactly what we needed. We had a ticket open on their discord and we proved them that we were not going to use this plugin. They were not cooperative at all, and they refused to give any kind of refund/compensation or replacement with another plugin that we would really use. Never buying a plugin made from these guys again.

Great plugin! The jobs are excellent, it has many features, and the price is very reasonable.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this plugin.

After migrating my server (a normal hosting/IP change), the plugin permanently blocked
my license with the message:
"Your license exceeded maximum number of unique IPs".

There is no warning, no grace period, no reset option, and no way to resolve this
without contacting the developer.

The situation is made worse by the complete lack of support.
Private messages to the author are disabled, and messages posted in the resource
discussion receive no response. There is no ticket system, no email, and no clear
support channel. As a paying customer, this is extremely frustrating.

Additionally, the plugin depends on a framework version (1.0.11) that is not publicly
available as a compiled .jar. Spigot redirects to GitHub, but only source code is
provided, and JitPack builds fail. This makes the plugin effectively unusable on
modern Minecraft versions (1.21+).

As a server owner, I lost access to a paid plugin without doing anything wrong,
and with no help from support.

I strongly advise server owners to avoid this plugin unless they are ready to deal
with strict IP-based license locks, unavailable dependencies, and no support response.

The best Jobs plugin on the market. Exceptionally well made, everything is super stable, completely zero bugs that ive ran into with my 100+ player server.

El plugin está muy bien, lo he probado y todo está muy bonito y util. Solo que no está traducido al español por el precio que vale y da un error con la tabla de clasificaciones: item:

Explicado brevemente, sucede que las cabezas tienen de nombre: "-" y eso no es valido para minecraft. Deberia poner "Null" o "EMPTY" para que no diese errores. Comunico por aquí por si pueden solucionarme el error. Minecraft da errores que te hacen salir del servidor inesperadamente.

I bought this plugin a few months ago and all the players are loving it! But everyone asks the same thing and I leave their question here, when the player leaves the job he loses the accumulated experience of that job, is there any option to keep the job's XP "frozen" when the player leaves it?

I don't usually leave reviews, but it bothers me when some users, by not reading the documentation or not consulting beforehand, give only one star, which is unfortunate.

AdvancedJobs is undoubtedly one of the best job management plugins available today in the "Premium" category. As of the date of this review, I have never experienced any issues. I made inquiries through Discord and always received quick and effective responses. Additionally, I have requested additional features on GitHub, and all have been implemented without any problems.

The plugin's performance is practically impeccable in all aspects I have been able to test. However, I believe it would be excellent to optimize or improve the MovementQuests functionality in the onMove() event, as there is room for improvement.

Without a doubt, I give it five stars.

I switched back to JobsReborn after attempting to mess with this plugin. The system is just not normal for a survival server. Jobs reset every single day and there really is no purpose of upgrading a job besides for a money aspect. I feel this plugin lacks quite a few basic features other plugins have. I don't recommend any plugins from GC / Advanced Plugins. They have no support for their plugins and no one will speak to you on Discord and your github error posts will be removed because they won't fix the issue.

AdvancedPlugins are really the best quality plugins you can find, great concepts incredible nice and good support. Again, I love how extensive the wiki is and how many options there are, you can activate any function you want

Love the concept. I am no dev so this is hard to understand but Im learning. The only disappointment I have is no way to add a cook/chef job as there is no bake listing at all. Gourmet is not about cooking its about eating. I hope this can be fixed? :) if so, then I will say 5 instead of 4!

please fix %player% not working on rewards, also money type reward is not working, currently there is no way to pay players, this can't happen on a jobs plugin, will remove when fixed

Terrible support, half broken plugin.
I would not buy any Advanced Plugin.
The developer didn't answer my questions and after a few days he decided to remove me from the discord rather than fixing the issue.
Had to find out for myself how a function worked and I had to extract files from the .jar since the plugin didn't work, the developer got mad and said I wasn't allowed to open the file.

TLDR: all AdvancedPlugins are buggy, broken, very basic amd you get no support. free plugins have less bugs

Extremely easy job creation and editing on base provided jobs. Gui is amazing. Dev is responsive when you have questions. Works seamlessly with most economy plugins. Rewards is great!

Good Jobs plugin that have rotation time, but please add booster for exp and rewards :)

In general the plugin is very good, it works without problems and all messages are editable.
However, the support is very miserable, there is no answer at all and the plugin is based on other paid systems of the developer. For example, the premium jobs are only compatible with the Battlepass system for 13€. Unfortunately, this fact is not described anywhere.

Excellent jobs plugins! Very well made job creation system, I've used now a few job plugins over the years, and will stick with this one. In-game jobs GUI editor is the killer feature!

I've actually been using this plugin already for over 2 weeks from another platform, and it's really refreshing to actually use GUIs, we moved from Jobs Reborn which is all very confusing for players - but this plugin is not! as always, a hit plugin from these guys!
