Welcome to the resource page of Custom Lead. With this plugin, you can fully customize and take control of lead mechanics on your server. Remove vanilla distance limitations, leash any entity (including players and vehicles), colorize leads into glowing neon lasers, and block teleportation commands while bound.

Plugin Features:
  • Remove or customize the vanilla 10-block lead break limit
  • Leash absolutely any entity (Players, Minecarts, Boats, Armor Stands, Bosses)
  • Turn standard leads into glowing, cross-version neon laser particles (RGB colors)
  • Smart block collision (Entities pull logically and bump into walls instead of glitching through)
  • Dynamic anti-escape system (Tied players cannot use blacklisted teleportation commands)
  • Full in-game configuration management via commands and interactive tab-completions
  • 100% customizable messages, HEX gradient prefix, sounds, and togglable item dropping

Plugin Commands:
  • /lead reload - Reload the configuration file on the fly
  • /lead blacklist add/remove <entity> - Dynamically manage entities that cannot be leashed
  • /lead range set <entity> <number> - Set a custom break distance limit for a specific entity
  • /lead range remove <entity> - Remove the custom break distance limit for a specific entity

Plugin Permissions:
  • customlead.admin - Complete access to all plugin setup, administration, and reload commands

Custom Placeholders:
  • %entity% - Displays the dynamic name of the targeted or modified entity
  • %range% - Displays the custom distance limit value set for an entity
  • %sound% - Displays the faulty sound name if entered incorrectly in the configuration

Installation:
  • Download the plugin jar file and place it into your server's 'plugins' folder;
  • Restart or load the server to generate the default config.yml;
  • Configure your sounds, colors, and blocked commands, then enjoy the plugin!
