WBUx AFK Bot Documentation
Overview
WBUx AFK Bot is a lightweight plugin that allows server owners to create and manage autonomous AFK bots directly from their Minecraft server.
Bots can be used for:
- AFK placeholders
- Chunk loading
- Server testing
- Automation tasks
- Simulating player activity for development environments
The plugin is designed to be lightweight, reliable, and simple to configure.
Installation
Requirements
- Paper, Purpur, Spigot, or Bukkit-based server
- Minecraft 1.21.6 (Paper API 26.1.2)
Steps
- Download the latest version of WBUx AFK Bot.
- Place the plugin JAR into your server's plugins folder.
- Start or restart your server.
- Configure the plugin if desired.
- Use /wbux join to spawn your first bot.
Commands
/wbux help
Displays the plugin help menu and available commands.
Usage:
/wbux help
/wbux join
Connects the default bot configured in the plugin settings.
Usage:
/wbux join
/wbux join
Creates and connects a new bot using a custom username.
Usage:
/wbux join SteveBot
/wbux leave
Disconnects all active bots from the server.
Usage:
/wbux leave
/wbux chat
Makes all active bots send a message in chat.
Usage:
/wbux chat Hello World!
/wbux reload
Reloads the plugin configuration and restarts the default bot.
Usage:
/wbux reload
Bot Features
Multi-Bot Support
Spawn and manage multiple bots simultaneously.

Automatic Invincibility
Three seconds after joining, bots are automatically switched into Creative Mode.
Benefits:

- Protection from fall damage
- Protection from environmental hazards

Anti-AFK System
Bots perform periodic actions to remain active.
Actions include:
- Random head movement
- Arm swing animations
- Human-like activity simulation
Smart Auto-Respawn
If a bot dies, it will automatically respawn and continue operating.
No manual intervention is required.
Automatic Reconnect
Bots automatically reconnect after:
- Server restarts
- Network interruptions
- Unexpected disconnects
The reconnect system uses exponential backoff to prevent excessive connection attempts.
Global Chat Broadcasting
Send a message through every active bot using a single command.
Useful for:
- Testing chat systems
- Automated announcements
- Administrative tasks
Permissions
All commands require Server Operator (OP) permissions.
Regular players cannot:
- Spawn bots
- Remove bots
- Control bots
- Access administrative commands
