SopMobGuard
is a region-aware protection plugin designed for servers that want additional control over hostile mob interactions without adding heavy mechanics or unnecessary complexity.

Built on top of SopLib, the plugin allows you to protect specific custom-named monsters inside protected regions. Only region owners or members will be able to interact with those mobs, while all other players are blocked automatically.

⚔️ How It Works
SopMobGuard checks hostile mobs with a configured custom name inside protected regions.

If the mob matches the configured name:

• Region members and owners can interact normally
• Other players cannot damage the mob
• Tamed pets cannot attack the mob
• The mob will not target unauthorized players

Default protected mob name:
protected-monster-name: "protected"

Installation

1. Install SopLib
2. Download SopMobGuard.jar
3. Move the file into your /plugins folder
4. Restart the server

Configuration file:
/plugins/SopMobGuard/config.yml
The plugin is intentionally designed to stay clean and minimal without oversized configs or complicated setup.

Performance
SopMobGuard is built as a lightweight solution focused on stability and low resource usage.

No heavy tasks. No unnecessary systems. Just simple region-based mob protection.

Usage Example

1. Summon or create a hostile mob
2. Rename the mob to the configured protected name
3. Place the mob inside a protected region
4. Add players to the region if they should be allowed to interact with the mob
