ShieldRising – How it works
  • Craft a normal shield.

  • When a player holds it (main hand or offhand), it awakens into a ShieldRising shield automatically.

  • Blocking mobs gives:
    • XP for shield leveling

    • Absorb progress (configurable)
  • Absorbing specific mobs unlocks new shield forms (defined in config).

  • Each shield has:
    • passives (damage reduction, reflect, fire resistance)

    • an ability (activate by F / swap-hand key)

    • its own level + XP
  • Players can reclaim unlocked shields using:
    • /shield claim <id>
  • Admins can:
    • add unlimited shields in config.yml

    • set unlock requirements in absorb.table

    • edit all messages in messages.yml

    • /shield reload to reload config
